Baumassive Lab founder,
Illustrator, 2D Animator & Rigger.
In 2011 he finished his studies of comics at the Scuola Del Fumetto in Palermo with which he collaborated as assistant animator in the realization of the 2D short animated movie I Vespri Siciliani.
After a couple of years working as illustrator in Palermo, mainly for musical events, he decided to move to Belgium where in 2016 he started to work for the animation studio Dreamwall in Charleroi.
There, he took part as 2D rigger at the realizations of different animated series such as: Little Furry, Les Nombrilles editing by Dupuis and Abraca editing by Ankama.
In a second moment he worked as 2d animator for others series like, Kid Lucky, Little Furry (season 2) and Monster Loving Maniacs editing by Belvision and Ja Film.
He worked as 2D Rigger also for other animation studios in Belgium like L’Enclume in Bruxelles for the project Les comptine d’Okoo (saison 2) and Waooh in Liege for the project Cander & Ladilash.
After more than 6 years of experience in the studio, today he is specialized in 2D Cut-Out animation & rigging for TV series.
In 2020, he founded with his friend Eric Perrin the Baumassive Lab 2D Animation & Motion-Design.
They made their first short animated clip Kina (visible on YouTube).
Between 2020 & 2021 they released their first official animated video-clip Hybrid , main track of the new Swingrowers album, produced by the Freshly Squeezed Music – London.
Is actually teaching 2D Cut-Out Animation & Rigging ( on Toon Boom Harmony ) at the Scuola del Fumetto in Palermo.
Inspired by art in all its new forms and technology,
dedicates his free time to illustration, tattoo, digital painting, murales…
